💡 Purpose of the role: to build & maintain a high-performing UAA Council leadership team and to drive the vision & purpose of the UAA – enabling our members to have a positive impact on society

Core Responsibilities (as defined in the UAA Constitution)
- Leadership, direction and guidance of the active members of the Association and the Council
- Establishment of policy, strategy and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) of the Association together with the Vice-President
- Representation and reporting of the Association towards UTI (UNITECH), ecosystem partners and external stakeholders together with the Vice-President,
- Ensuring that Corporate Partners are engaged to provide value to the Association and that they receive value back from the Association
- Ensuring that Academic Partners are supported in their recruiting efforts and that the Association gets value in return
- Ensuring regular meetings of the Association take place
- Ensuring that the operations are executed by the persons in charge to achieve the set objectives
Core Additional Responsibilities
- Support, guide, unblock and motivate each Council Member to ensure adherence to the UAA Strategy and OKRs and that the team is happy
- Ensure succession planning for key positions in the Council and Active Community for continuity
- Ensure visibility of the UAA and our activities within the ecosystem as well as to the external world
- Take seat in the UNITECH Board as a voting member to represent the UAA, align, create synergies, and drive strategic decisions that benefit the whole ecosystem
- Keep in sync with the UNITECH Office to drive collaboration and synergy
- Be present at the core annual events to (re)present the UAA strategy & key results to our various stakeholder groups, the UAA Active Community, and drive engagement.
