What is a Local Chapter?

Local Chapters exist in locations with large numbers of active Unitech members. A Local Chapter primarily serves as the touchpoint for its local community, fostering and maintaining the Unitech Alumni Community in its respective location. It also provides access to the broader Unitech Alumni Community as part of the UAA, promoting international Unitech events to its members.

Why?

Each local chapter maintains the Unitech Network for the alumni, and attempts to create valuable connections that our alumni can benefit from. Each Local Chapter, in its own way, hosts events that focus on bringing the local Unitech community together.

How Does It Work?

Each location is unique, so each local chapter operates in a way that best serves its members:

• University City Chapters: In university cities like Aachen, local chapters focus on welcoming new students during their exchange, organizing pre-AC events for candidates, and promoting Unitech to new students. They also maintain relationships with students who have recently completed their Unitech year.
• Corporate Partner Chapters: In locations with corporate partners, such as Schaan, local chapters emphasize creating connections between alumni of various ages, promoting Unitech within the company, and expanding the network through events like fireside chats.

Core responsibilities

• Leadership position to coordinate the Local Chapter Coordinators
• Strategic Development of the Local Chapters across Europe
• Support promotion of UNITECH program
• Coordinate with the UNITECH Office & UAA Council
• Run LCC Monthly Meeting, responsible for local UAA events
